Asian bowls are a classic dish in Asian cuisine. This is due to the simplicity of the dish, but also to the numerous ingredients that can be combined. Our recommendation for a delicious sashimi bowl:

The ingredients

  • 100g fresh salmon sashimi
  • 1 spring onion
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 50g baby spinach
  • 3 tbsp salted peanuts
  • 2 tbsp edamame
  • 70g rice noodles
  • ¼ cucumber
  • ¼ avocado
  • Sesame seeds
  • 3-5 tbsp teriyaki sauce
  • 1 chilli

The preparation

  1. Prepare the sashimi: Cut the salmon into 0.5cm wide strips and chill.
  2. Fry the spinach: Finely chop the garlic and the white part of the spring onions and fry in a little oil. Add the spinach and cook briefly. Set aside in a bowl.
  3. Roast the peanuts: In the same pan without oil, briefly roast the salted peanuts.
  4. Cook the edamame and noodles: Cook the edamame in boiling water for 5 minutes and remove. Then cook the rice noodles in the same water according to the package instructions for about 5 minutes.
  5. Assemble the bowl: Mix the cooked noodles with the teriyaki sauce. Top with the spinach mixture, edamame, diced avocado and cucumber, sashimi and the remaining spring onions. Top with a little teriyaki sauce, roasted peanuts, sesame seeds and chilli.
